Should I get spacers?

I find I have terrible rub when my tires are turned, I initially figured it was due to the fenders, now that I've been reading around I see a lot of the rub can come from needing spacers.

When my wheels are turned sharp my YJ feels like its almost jumping from the rub. Any ideas?

Check and see what it is rubbing on before you do anything! While there, check to see how much. You might be able to get by with a 1/4" or 1/2" spacer. Put the wheel on using as many washers for spacers as you can and still get the lug nut on (in the driveway only!) and see how much you need to stop the rubbing. Don't drive it like that!

post a pic of your setup..... it will help to better come up with a solution, and like stated above, find out where its rubbing!! i bet it's on the leaf springs..... the jumping you're feeling is probably from the tire lugs grabbing and letting go as they spin by whatever they are rubbing.

I checked it out when I got home, and there is a noticeable rub spot on the leaf spring. I have those :poop: TSL thornbirds and they have huge lugs on the inside that are hooking the leafs bad.

with that, I am planning on getting new tires, im gonna move from 37s to 35s, should I even both getting spacers if my plans is to change my setup?

right now I have a 95yj 4" suspension with 3"body lift, and again, I am going to a 1" or 1.5" body.

I am kinda new to the 4x4 community, so I'm still learning.
