Show me your fuel cell mounts. I've got an idea of what I want to do with mine but want to see what others have done. It's a 10 gallon aluminum cell in the back of a 1st gen 4runner.

The tabs are 1/4" x 2" aluminum flat bar. They run across and are welded the full width of the tank and stick out about 2'" on each side. There are four of them.
They sit on 3/4" x 4" rubber to add cushion. Seems to be pretty sturdy.
 
Thats a super ballin fuel cell!
 
:eek:Yea, I'll say! Where's it going to go? Mine already has tabs welded to it but I'm not too sure they would hold the weight of a full cell upside down in the event of a rollover. I'm thinking I'll use the tabs and then put tie down type straps over the top for added security.
