SHR to Ford

I seen this yesterday, I'm sure ford is throwing alot of cash their way to make this happen.

From what I heard is Hendricks cut shr off after they won the championship with harvick. Ford is offering a true parternership.

Great rumor, but there's a lot of factors involved here, and SHR was not "cut off" else they wouldn't be able to compete for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

And yes, I'm sure Ford made it very attractive. That's pretty obvious, because a decision like this is not made lightly, especially with the massive time and money costs of switching 4 teams over to a new manufacturer engine and body package.

I'm not saying any more.

What he said. I used to work there a few years ago and the relationship with Hendrick was interesting to me. We seemed to share a lot more info before Stewart came aboard and started winning races. Then it was just natural for SHR to start designing and using some of their own suspension components to have something different (or better) than Hendrick. It's hard to compete while going to the track with the same components. I knew they were getting away from them, but did not think they would ever go away from Chevy.
