I was gifted a slightly nicer scope for a hunting rifle and I leave for a hunting trip Friday morning, is there a 50 or 100 yard range within 30 to 45 min of Charlotte that I would be able to site it in at?

I tried to go to the Gastonia 100y police range (open on Saturdays), but they had a sniper competition and closed the ranges to the public. Any suggestions on a range open on a Wednesday or Thursday this week to sling about 9 to 12 rounds down?

Worse case scenario is I just keep the current Zeiss on there, but it would be nice to get the newer one setup.

I'm dealing with this now. I should have left my scope on my old gun and waited until after the season. Now I have two guns neither of which I am confident in. If you think you'll hit the deer then stick with the zeiss.

The good thing you have going for you over me is that I have a new to me gun. Lot more variables there than a new scope.

How's that for not answering your question.

If you want to ride down to rock hill, Ill let you shoot at my place. I don't have anything fancy set up but I have a table with a rest and over 100yds of range. I'll be off work tomorrow. Sending a pm with address so you can get an idea of where I am.

I'll even make you a smokin deal on a 6.0 for the mall crawler while you're here...

Ure range

Head over to North Lake Mall, I hear they do some shooting out there! (people gone
crazy) Eagles Gun has a range in Concord, open week days.

So basically you're saying bring a trailer ;-)?

It's about 50 min each way. I'll see if I can sneak away- I'll let you know in the AM.
