So I have been working on a new project in my spare time since december. I started with an 88 yj body and frame and started adding parts.

I'm planning on using:
Chevy 350 TBI
TH350 auto trans
203/205 doubler or maybe with a dana 300
dana 60 axles

Thanks, XJ springs flipped around with a dodge dakota main leaf added to it.

Noah, dont know what rim size you are running with those tires, but with the DRW setup on your axles, a set of stock H1's with 7" of backspacing would look good, unless you are planning on converting them to SRW

Yeah I'm going to use some H1 beadlocks with some spacers on the back. Just trying to decide if I want to get the 8 bolts or 12. Are the 12's better?

yeah If you can find a set of 12 bolts, get them, then you want have to deal with the magnesium run flats cutting tires, the 12 bolts have rubber runflats

1BIGAZZBURN has some but no rubber runflats with them. Structutally are the 12 bolts better? I guess more even clamping force?

Lookin good. You gonna use a CJ dash?

Thanks guys, I'll probably keep the dash simple like a cj one and maybe use some aluminim or stainless to make it. Just need to find some guages.

I don't see it being finished by then....

Looks like a nice build. Curious as to what gauge you would use for the dash. I contemplated doing this myself when I had my YJ and never got around to it but always thought that I would run into issues of an overly heavy dash (not that it matters too much) or something too flimsy. Do you run some form of bracing on the back of the sheet?

Thanks, I will probably put a bend at the bottom of the dash to keep things rigid and add bracing if needed.

Looks like a good start. What happened to the Wagoneer you were fixing up?

I was wondering when you were going to finally post up the project I smelt brewing with all these WTB posts. It sorta looks like a familiar build, haha. Let me know if you need any help with it; you're close enough to go check it out.

I lost interest in the wagoneer so I used all of the money from parting it out to put towards this jeep. So far it's been a fun build.

Yep, the wagon never made it to the trails. I'll let you know when I get the bender up and running.

someone sure got their money's worth out of those rotors.
