Sinthetic winch rope

This happened wile rideing last week best i can tell the tail just pulled out of the middle if the rope I put a new eye in a rope last year so im somewhat farmiliar with how the knott works but this is a factory line that came on my xrc8 should I just put it back through the middle? Anyone know what would cause this ?

While I'm not an expert on these Dynema ropes, I have a friend in Wilkes County that manufactures them (braids the individual strands, eye-splices, etc. to meet a given spec).
IIRC, all of his use the tail stuck back into the main rope with a single nylon/kevlar stitch to keep the tail from coming out, since the main rope squeezes on that tail to provide the "clamping" force...

Did it happen with a very minimal load on it?

Gotya. I have heard that under very light loads, the tail will come out as not enough tension on the live end to hold it inside.

I read somewhere or YouTube some people use some monofilament to hold it in place until the tension on the live side can squeeze down onto it.

Ya im going to take a closer look at it tomarrow and try to fix it it could have just been crap from the factory I will probly thread it back in and use some fishing line to just hold it in place

Might consider putting abrasion sleeve overt it also, anywhere it might rub on the buggy as a suck down
