Got some 3x3" square tube for the sliders and started cuitting and hammering the rockers into place so I can sink the sliders into the body!

:DGreat rig. . .Rode with Jaybird plenty. . . Looking forward to this build. . . Unless you would like to sell. . .:driver:

Yeah going to tuck the sliders up directly under the bottom of the doors. These rockers are already pretty bashed in.

also cut some slots for the support braces to go through the rockers. Probably do one more in the middle.

Wha are the specs on the rig Noah?

Stock drivetrain with ford axles hpd44/9" 5.38's spools full hydro 39.5 iroks

How about cutting the extra sheet metal off the bottom of the doors up till the inner panel sticks out and set the sliders there? Basically replace stock rockers with those sliders and would allow for boat sides.

It's already cut/smashed/dented up to about that point from wheeling without sliders lol. I might be able to cut another inch out of it...

Got some more done today....first time bending it's not easy

Thanks man! Everyone wants to buy this jeep! Heard nothing but good things about it when people come over.

I tried to bend one continuous tube from the front rocker to the rear hoop on the jeep. The angles were tricky but it worked out.

Thanks guys! Now I'm trying to tuck the sliders up higher than before. They didn't look right under the doors. Time to do some major cutting. I'm going to end up with most of the slider hidden behind the door. So it will be beefy but you won't see it. And then put the a pillar behind the front fender.

Cut some more out of the rockers and mocked up the sliders.

Nice.... How are the axles holding up? Are they running factory shafts or alloys?

No progress lately been busy. 31 spline big bearing stock shafts in the rear and chromoly shafts and ox joints in the front.

Looking killer man. I like the sliders right under the door.

Thanks! Got the passenger slider done! Here is a pic of how it fits up underneath before final welding.
