I've heard you can just machine the bell housing to fit is this true? I just got back from the Middle East and I'm ramped up to start working on my jeep

I have done several of these, and machined all the parts myself. The bell housing and pilot bushing are both simple machining tasks. Depending upon your skill level, you may find the front bearing retainer mods a bit more challenging. The key is accuracy... it must be done right to maintain correct alignment.

Thanks granny I'm ready to get it done so I can mate my trans and motor and drop it in the jeep so I can start it instead of sitting in it and making vroom vroom noises haha
