SM465 tranny and Chevy V6 motor clutch??

I have a 1986 Chevy astro van V6 4.3 motor and will be using a SM465 tranny. Question is what clutch do I use?

One that fits the fllywheel that you're using

you might be able to use it. I think that your going to need quite a bit more info on this before you go out an buy parts. I would take a look at advanceadapters.com and see if they have anything on this setup.

By looking at advanceautoparts.com, it looks like the astro clutch is 11" in diameter, for a 14-spline 1" input shaft.

According to novak-adapt.com, the sm465 has a 10-spline 1-1/8" input.

it will be the same as a chevy 350 & sm465 tranny. just look it up on www.rockauto.com
