Looking to help a coworker put a small lift or leveling kit on his 07 fx4.
99.999% for show, so he can run 20s and "better looking tires"
The only dirt it will see would be going down a dirt road to unload his atv or dirt bike.
Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions/comments for what to go with, brands to avoid like the plague, etc.
I don't own a ford, so I have NFC which kits/brands to go with.
I figure he'll probably end up with ~33" tall tires. (Metric sizes so he can get the 20s he wants)
Cheers
Should we just do something like this:
http://skyjacker.com/products/products_search/detail/?id=182272
or would
http://skyjacker.com/products/products_search/detail/?id=182265
with the add a leaf in the back be better?
If the second, does the strut really get torqued down to 351 ft/lbs on the lower a arm? That seems like quite a bit.
