Wanting to run 17s on my j10 project. I will be using this for towing only. It has no lift and I want to run a tire around a 31 or not much bigger....any ideas on what brands to look for in a load E if any?

I believe I saw 245/70-17's on a newer dually, but it's a E tire.

Whats the differnce in size between the 245 and the 265 and how close are they to a 31. thanks guys, I know nothing about these tires sizes or how to read them

if your not looking for to aggresive of a tire i like the bridgestone dueller a/t..its a great tire..a 265 is about 31 ..i work for a tire distributor...we get alot of requests for them

295-70-17 on my truck equal out to be a little bigger than a 33 so I would look for something around a 265-70-17. Also not real pleased with the mileage out of my nittos to soft of compound to last long. Bridgestones did well when I had smaller tires.
