has any one bought one of these yet. i found one for sale for 284.00. with free shipping. the web site was winchdepot.com i would like some reviews on this product

I've had one for a few months, works great no problems. Don't run the roller fairlead....you will break it if you really use your winch.

FWIW, I witnessed one in action last weekend...Guy pulled a dead H2 out of a mud pit. He had to do a double line pull, and it didn't set any records for speed, but it got the job done.

I just got to do a couple pulls with mine for the first time today in mountain city.....

like everyone says, it is SLOW, but pulls strong, i actually need to reinforce my bumper, because the somewhat unsupported span of 1/4" that holds the winch bowed up with a hard pull today......

Everyone says it is just a rebadged milemarker, and that soem of the parts are even stamped milemarker, so i would expect that the speeds are the same, but i have never paid much attention to any milemarkers

i think it's about the same speed a my friend's 4 year old 8k mile marker.... it's definatly less quieter though, and has a better controller....

just got one first pull was 8700#hummer in mud last week then used multiple times yesterday its about the same speed as the warn it replaced the basic design is warn and the motor has the same markings as warn some rumors say ramsy i suggest if u want one better get it now mine was on back order 3 months

some guy on pirate took one apart and showed pics of the milemarker tags, haven't heard a bad thing about them yet, just slow like every other milemarker.

I also recently ordered one from winchdepot.com to use as a rear suck-down winch. I think there is a lot of bang-for-the-buck with this one.
