So I've got a oklahoma joes thats about 15 years old. Moving out of my house into an apt and its going to be stored outside for about a year (covered obvs) but it has some rust thats kicked up in the last year. Want to clean it up really well so its not a pile of rust by the time I get to use it again. Thinking just plain old engine paint but whats the best rust remover you guys have used? Any other suggestions on a paint since this thing is kept hot for a long period of time?

Is the rust on the outside? If it's on the inside - I think it needs a good cleaning and then seasoned - like you would a cast iron skillet.
