HUUUGE thanks to StudNuts!!!! I couldnt be happier with the finished product... there are a few more bars i want to add before i really test it out but it is a HELL of a good start :D

the hoop bar will be tied into my sliders when they go on and i plan to add bars coming from the upper corners of the hoop down to the center as well as some more vertical bars here and there.... will be plated and have an expanded metal floor.... more pics to come tomorrow since i didnt finish with paint and taillights until after it got dark tonight
 
thanks everyone... just waiting for work to slow down some so i can tie up a loose end or 2 on it and get some more pics... ill try to get that done this week :D
 
they worked out pretty good to be temporary... inside 2 lights are tail/brake, outside 2 are turn signals... no reverse light- couldnt get that damn thing to fit right with the grommet and actually stay in there... im thinking next month some time ill order the steel to plate it and try to get up there to do something more permanent
 
Nice.... I'll look forward to pics of the finished product. Do me a favor and PM your cell number to me, i've just got your old one. I wanted to talk to you about the white truck, steve-o told me you had some ideas.
 
IIRC it is 1 5/8 .134 wall.... talk to studnuts, he supplied the tube and knows where to get it... i beleive he said sanford steel??? he can tell you better than i can... dunno about how much per foot, i paid by the job
 
snapped some more pics tonight... notice the stripes are gone.... made a HUGE difference in the appearance of the truck... need to put another coat on there this weekend but this is how it sits untill i add the other bars and plate it

first one is kinda blurry cause i was on the 2nd floor and had to use the night setting
