Ok so trying to get ready for the Dixie Run, and the Jeep show in Hickory. Gonna get the crawl box in at least a good start Friday.
I got a tube fender kit from CRS last year, got tired of the crappy looking cut/bent fenders that were on my Jeep, so Tube fender time.
First off the tube needs to go where the top bolt holes are for the stock fenders. So, Drill the hole out, weld bolts in, put a nut on the back. Ok, good idea, Pain in the rear! Where it goes there is little room. Remove the headlight for access. Can do on the right, winch in the way on the left. Great access on left for top tub mount, had to pull heater box to get to top right bolt/stud to put a nut on it. Heater core had been leaking, so replace that while it's out. Not in stock! So good news is I didn't have to drive 20 miles into town and pay for it before the would order it. Good to be known at the auto parts places!
So it's apart, everything that was mounted to the fender wells is just hanging, not movable.

So now it's time to nap before pulling 2 12's at work. Friday afternoon/evening will be a busy one!
