We got about 6" here in Greensboro. It was supposed to snow all day but stopped earlier.

i bet people were FREAKING OUT in greensboro, they dont know what to do with that much snow. Looks like fun, yall got just about as much as we did here in boone

Yeah Ive seen you around. I pulled out more stuck people during the last snow, I guess because everyone was getting off work when it was getting "bad."

92yotaman, yes, people were freaking out, and as soon as the roads were salted and got the slightest bit slushy people were passing me going 45mph on 35mph roads.

uvafan, when did you go to Guilford? I went there for two years before I transferred to UNCG.



Here are some more pics. I had a fire in my apartment complex and somebody called the fire department. Deuche bag...The fire dept. guys were cool and said my fire was fine though, since it was a snow fire.:beer:


To top this winter off, they are calling for more snow this coming weekend! I can just hear the salt eating away at the bottom of my truck.

Haha PLEASE tell me you live at Brassfield apts. We were with the group of about 20 up on the hill sledding that night when they called the FD on you. You should have come up and experienced the kiddie pool man....
 
Yeah that was me. A bunch of my friends were supposed to come but bailed so it was just me and my girlfriend. We went up on that hill one night during the last snow and I borrowed a kids sled and took a ride down. It was fun but they had built some jumps at the bottom I wasnt expecting. And it definitely was not worth the walk back up the hill.
I still cant believe somebody called the fire department.
 
We had a good time up there. Yea that fire was so small I thought it was hilarious they showed. Would have introduced myself if I saw ya but there were so many people up there it was hard to make out who was who.
 
Yea everyone knows about it. We used to ride dirt bikes where you live when I was a kid. NONE of that stuff was there.
 
I went there from 05-07 and played soccer my first year. It was a hard school, UNCG was pretty much a joke compared to Guilford.

we never did lose power. luckily most of it came down as sleet then changed to freezing rain. it did make the roads really fun to drive on. half my weekend i spent at work, i was driving people to and from work. everybodys chicken to drive in it.
