On the 26th of July, I was in uwharrie for the mud/rock crawl comp. and on my way up cotton place rd. towards the Daniel trailhead, my jeep flipped over onto my leg, which I instinctively put out to "stop" the jeep:shaking:and i was air-lifted via helicopter to UNC hospital. Anyway, I wanted to thank the person who stopped and pulled my jeep off of me, and also another couple who stopped and offered me water and helped me out. Yor help was MUCH appreciated and I cant thank you enough!!. I also wanted to thank Al, (who's son owns the outpost) for keeping my jeep safe for me while I recover. Again, Thanks so much to all who helped me out!

Glad you are okay, now get started on a set of tube doors to KEEP YOUR LEGS INSIDE...

Yeah, you can imagine how much I'm regretting not putting on my half-doors for that trip.

Well hurry up & heal so you can wheel another day. Glad you are ok.

Let me know when you go again & I may ba able to go with ya.

You bet! Unfourtunately, its gonna be a while since i broke my left leg, and im running a manual tranny. Now Im wishin i had swapped in an auto!

So what caused it to flip? Hope you have a speedy recovery bro! that sucks man

True, but i would much rather have my left arm broken than my left leg.

Haha, no, wasn't speeding and had my seatbelt on. I was going up cotton place and coming up on a bend, and another jeep came around the corner and didnt leave me too much room, so i went into the soft gravel on the side, then over-corrected to the left, and then again to the right and my rear swung out due to my locker, and i then slammed into the ravine on my right and the law of intertia knocked the jeep on its side.

Thanks man, I dont know what I would have done w.o the help of some nice people, seeing as no one has cell phone coverage up there.
