Coming back from Banner Elk tonight, turning left to go down 194 to my apartment. Claimed intersection, car coming straight on the other side is pretty far off. Light is yellow

So I turn left. Moron coming straight decides to gun it to beat the light. I catch him just out of the corner of my eye, downshift to second and FLOORED it. It actually put me back in the seat and chirped the tires a bit.

Who knew the 4cyl is actually worth something! At least Im still alive.
