So looking for a solution for my steering. Was really looking at the jb4x4 bracket and someone suggested the rr hi steer kit. I've heard terrible things about rr but have heard alot of people say this kit is great. Opinions?

The kit is $$$$, from what I hear.

Will a dropped pitman arm not get you back where you need to be?
Mine is SOA with 1" lift springs and it is pretty good. My draglink hits the passenger side spring occasionally, but luckily, it is 1.25" .50" wall DOM...:driver:

hit up jeepin95

if you're keeping the 30 the jb setup is the most cost effective....

if you are ready to fork out the money on the RR kit or any "real" hi-steer kit for the 30 i think you should go ahead and invest that coin in full widths :)

Not yet haha. I need to keep the 30 under it for atleast 6mo or my wife might start feeding me mercury in my frosty o's

i have the JB bracket on my 30, been there for 3 years. ZERO issues. people say you get what you pay for..... i did indeed..... an affordable steering fix for my YJ that has lasted a good while so far..... with that, and a drop pitman arm, the steering is perfect for my SOA with 2" springs.

they have updated it a little since i bought it, i think they added another 1/2" bolt or something to make the mounting stronger.

Ive got a drop pitman arm for 4 inches of lift and it works fine. No rubbing.
