what hight would this put me at??

i know of all the things that would need to be redone,

any pics would be appreciated

Too tall to do anything useful unless you were fullwidth... but it'd still be too tall even then. Just to answer your question though, right at 9".

yea, im running 4" skyjacker springs sprung over on tons. dont know why 336 says this would be a problem, but i have had none. currently on 38" tsl's, and able to touch the tires to the fender flares. i did build a traction bar for the rear of it, and everything works fine. granted im on full width, but is it possible to take a leaf out of your packs?

these pics are before the shackle reversal, and front frame stretch, but its just an idea of what you might net out of the lift

I'm running stock springs on fullwidths, works good for me. I've seen blaster's rig, its a big boy but he has it set up really well. I know others running lift springs soa and they haven't complained too much. All in what you want to do with your rig...

You coming to Mtn City this weekend Jason?

I was just saying it was a problem because you're raising your center of gravity higher than it really needs to be. Granted, if you're doing an SOA with 3.5" springs and netting 9" without doing fullwidths, running the 30/35 with a 38" or so would be nice for... a show? With the fullwidths and stock springs, you can run just as big of a tire, have a lower COG, and put more weight on the bottom where it needs to be. But its your vehicle, I just suggested what has worked for quite a few people on here and elsewhere.

i completely agree with you 336, and not to steer away from the original question. lol, maybe if we knew more about this rig in question, we could give a better answer. personally i wasnt at the point of cutting up my body for the travel i gained from the soa. not to mention, but i didnt have any stock boingers laying around to do the soa with. so that is what i ended up with. wasnt trying to go against what you say, just tryin to give an honest answer, with pics. lol!!!

not gonna be able to make it to MT CITY this weekend austin, seeing its already sat. night. but i was in boone/blowing rock on fri. was gonna give you a call, but figured you were in class anyhow. thanks for the invite though, ill take you up on it soon enough

I have did a SOA with 2.5 in lift springs. Here is where it sits now

Its on 35's if that helps give you anymore of an idea about the height. Its a little too tall for my tastes tho.

One thing I encountered. It may just have been the maker of the lift springs the PO had on it, but the first time I went out I completely killed the front packs. So you may wanna beef yours up before you take it out anywhere.

RE makes a 1.5" SOA-specific leaf, for not "killing the packs". A common thing to use is a 7-leaf wagoneer front spring.. its the equivalent to a 2" lift spring, and has offset center pins to push out the wheelbase 2 inches. The 7 leaves help combat "killing the packs" also.
