I'm running a stock full size Bronco HD radiator from Autozone or Advance (can't remember) behind the cab on my Ranger cab truck. Stock 5.0 water pump. I made a custom shroud from some scrap aluminum I got out of the dumpster at work. For a fan, I am using a Taurus 2spd unit I picked from the JY. I am also using a DC Controls fan controller wired to the high speed wire on the fan. No problems with this setup. I can post some pictures later if you like.

yea post some pics... it will help me and prob help other as well, thx

i forget what year the taurus is, and ill see if i can find it, but get the dual speed fan off the 3.8L car. its like 3300 cfms. around here, you can find them from $10 to $30 dollars at the junk yard.

Use a taurus fan and relay with electric thermostat for high speed. Use a manual switch with relay for normal operation. I reccomend have it come on with ignition.
