Some leather/paracord projects

The wife and I did some leather and paracord projects last night. May try and sell some. But for now just wanted yalls input. We started hand crafting small pieces from raw leather..we can make belt buckles, money clips, fully hand crafted belts, spur straps, horse tack, and simple art. We also repair old leather and reconditioned leather saddles, belts, wallets, etc..

Im using #550 -7 strand paracord. Many uses in case of a survival situation. For now I Only have a few colors. I'm making watch bands, bracelets, keychains lanyards, water bottle holder with carabiner/d-ring. Tonight I'm gonna try the wide pattern. Also I'm gonna do belts, dog collars, leashes, horse halters, gun slings, and whatever else we can come up with..

I dig the watch band... is it adjustable, or do you need a diameter to make it into?
 
Yes we can. Most wallets are bought in kits..as raw leather that has pre made divider layers. then sew the layers together with the leather. Then we would tool the face of the leather in designs like shown above if wanted..we can put anything on them. Then we finish by dying the leather. On hand we have a single fold wallet..probable 4"x 4" when closed. And a 3"x 6" check book cover that is like a western style wallet. I'll post some pics up.

Being how this is a 4X4 board, might want to show some examples of 4X4 related designs. Say a wallet with a Jeep logo and so on.

With that type of plastic buckle I need a wrist measurement. There are some stainless buckles that adjust within the buckle its self. Also with that type of band I ran the cord through the watch face. Gonna try another way to attach it.

Agree with ya 100%! That's why I put this in general chit chat.. I didn't look to sell anything yet..just wanted opinions on our workmanship. To see what everyone thought about it. We can tool any design. I'm working on a jeep design now ;)

Hmm...a new belt and a new money clip would be sweet!
