Something rubbing in the steering column?

Was driving my 95 YJ with tilt steering and noticed something rubbing in the steering column. I took off the horn cap and all the rings , and didn't see anything. I don't Currently have a puller for the steering wheel, but the rubbing is past all that. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what it could be? Thanks.

Typically the bearing down at the end of the column goes to shit on YJs, check it out, i'd venture to say thats the cause of your problem if its in the column
