Don't know current prices, but the cheapest bang for the buck in your area is Parks Nash if he's still in business??? I drove down there with a 390 like 17 years ago and he rebuilt the entire thing from carb to pan for 1k including the distributor. Even sleeved 2 cylinders and removed and rethreaded the common driver's side header bolts (instead of just drilling them out like everybody else does).
Good shit and HIGHLY recommend! There's a reason he's overwhelming 5 stars...
