We're breaking down and getting a new oven.
I know what features I want (electric ceramic top w/ simmer/warmer) but nothing fancy (crazy how pricy they get).
Aide from the sale at Sears etc, anybody have tips on a supplier to get a deal on one?

It's pretty stupid how pricy they can be for just be a big box of giant resistors, lol.

This place is a truck salvage auction. They usually have two auctions per week, and sometimes post a llist of what they have the day before. I've only been once, but they had alot of damaged appliances. Most of them were high end stuff, and alot of the damage was stuff you would not even see once it was installed.

Very cool, thanks!
Well aparently lat week they had 3 smooth-top ranges... but nada this week. Oh well.
i'm definitely going to have to check the place out though. Too bad it's a hike from home.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore, or any surplus building supply store around W-S should have something for you to check out on the cheap. Craigslist has done me well, too.
