Source for rebuilt 20R or 22r

Hi all,

I have 87 Samurai that I bought with a 20r on it. the block has cracked and need a new engine. do you know of a reliable place that sale rebuilt 20r or 22r so I can change the engine?

Any info is appreciated!

Advance sells reman engines. So do most other parts places. Typically 3 year 30-100k warranty. Jasper is another option, 3 yr unlimited miles warranty.. rebuilding a salvage yard motor is another option, so is a salvage motor. Good luck.

Plan on $1k for a rebuild. Anything less and corners are cut.

I've got a good 22RE core engine from an '85, had a light knock when it was pulled 14yrs ago, been sitting under a bench ever since, with cyl head and timing cover ( un gouged ) 2wd oil pan $100
