Spent the day realizing how blessed I am

I spent the day with my 19 year old daughter. School does not start back for a few days and we took the opportunity to work on her truck some. We had a great time, we laughed and talked and worked. I have a great girl, she makes me so proud.

We ended up wet, tired and all smiles. I hope that I have been a good father when it is all said and done.

I know man. It seems like just yesterday she was 10 and always wanting to wrestle with me.

She texted me just now and said "I love you dad". My heart is so full it might explode.

Thanks We adopted her when she was 10 (hence no baby pics) but she IS MINE 100%

She wrenches with me and her boyfriend (who I actually like, he has a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and a OBS Bronco on 37s) and asks questions about mechanical stuff all the time. I always slow down and explain the "why" behind the "how".

Honestly she plays her AR better than the Jackson Guitar
She has an Aimpoint on it now, don't think she can't pop caps with the boys.

She has her own Glock 19 as well, some parents might would disagree but tools to defend life are more important than iPads and clothes from Sachs.

We found her '96 F150 shortbed 4x4 locally. It was adult owned, rust free and unmolested. We are getting it ready to be driven now that the holidays are over. Here are some inside pics while the seat is out drying from being cleaned. It is one clean pickup, I am jealous over how nice it is. She wants a 6" lift on 35s but I am telling her a SAS would be the way to go

I know how this guy feels...my daughters are 25, 23, 21 and 20, throw in 2 female dogs just for good measure. I am truly blessed to have the best kids anyone could ask for. My youngest was home from college for winter break and goes back today. Spending time with her over the holidays was awesome and makes you stop and think how fast time does go by. Sounds like you also have one awesome child that is growing up too!

Got her chrome grill and headlamp surrounds in today. We have a chrome front bumper and fender well trim too. A set of 31s is needed.
Once we buff and wax it this will be one sharp truck. Boys be jealous LOL.
