Who carries spicer joints in Raleigh ?

Advance only shows listing for Naepco /Brute Force, I'd rather stick with a Spicer but everyone seems to carry junk..

Mike,

Chase at East Coast Gear Supply carries Spicer stuff...
and I want to say that NAPA's joints are Spicer too...

Sticking with Spicer is a wise choice. I can't tell you where to get em in Raleigh specifically, but any type of driveshaft or driveline shop should have them, as well as most dealerships. And as BigJUGGY said, check with ECGS.

As for the Napa joints, I don't believe they are spicer, Ive had no better luck with them than the Poot Force. The seals have a lot to do with it, as well as the "greaseable" junk that has cheap, leaky zerks.

Fleetpride always has them in stock. I've tried at three different napas and none of them carry spicer axle joints anymore, only their own crap brand. As was said though, if you're close to durham then hit up cperry.

They used to carry them, I'd get em from the above if I were closer. He does ship em. Round here Fleetpride is the hook up but they can rarely look up the part first time around. I always take a joint for inspection/comparisome for that reason. After bringing the wrong stuff home.

got beat to the punch. Sorry for reposting same info!

I have replaced alot of axle joints here lately on a D30 and I have come to find out CCC truck parts in downtown Hickory carries a better selection and is alot more friendly. So now there is where I go now. They even have been installing them for me for free and that is nice.

Are they on First AVe. on the one way near the concrete plant?

thanks I had some drive shaft work done there before the name change, only time I got bummed is when I tried on Sat. to get parts - they were closed. Drive shaft work was done very well.

X 2 on CCC trucking. Knowledgeable, and friendly service. They do great drive shaft service too. On and they also have hard to find old RV brake stuff!

Fleet pride in Hickory has the Spicer stuff. Last time I needed a spicer joint in Morganton I got it from Flowers Auto, a NAPA dealer, didn't know they had stopped carrying spicer. bummer!
