i have an 87 k10 with a 10 8.5 rear i need to replace the spider gears but everywhere ive looked online has kits for 10 bolt open rear end i have a posi rear does anyone know where i might can find the correct replacement gears or whole posi assembly

try east coast gear supply, they're very knowledgeable, easy to work with and have some of the most competitive prices around
Give us a shout. Your best bet is to put a better quality posi in it or an open carrier, depending on what you are doing with the car/truck. That will not be the first time the gov-bomb will cost you money if you just try to repair or put in a used stock posi.
We have some better quality LSDs at a good price if you want to keep a posi in it or we have loaded open carriers if you want to go that route.
