Splicing in fuel line

I think I would just run a section of PVC down the frame and bypass all the steel line with fuel injection rated rubber hose ran through the PVC to keep it safe. We did this on a mud truck for both fuel and trans cooler and didn't have any problems. Could also just run all rubber hose and affix it using the rubber isolated clamps.

Then again most parts stores carry fairly long sections of fuel/brake line, it's not terribly hard to bend line to match factory.

Run the whole length with standard brake line and call it a day. You can buy it on a roll and bend it yourself in one piece or buy a few stock lengths and put them together.

Gah, turns out the 14mm x 1.5 pitch inverted flare fitting for an 8mm / 5/16s tube is odd enough nobody stocks it locally, and the longest stick of line is 6' but the whole thing is 6.5'. The stuff Ben posted will certainly work but is overkill on length and cost for a guy like me.
I'm perfectly happy using hose but then I still need a new fitting to adapt to the hose, the old one was not reusable. Will have to just order it. This is one of those times it's frustrating how we're one of the few places still hung up on SAE
