Split Rim removal anyone?

Got a bad split rim with a brand new tire on it. My local tire place won't touch it. Anyone on here with split rim experience? Would be nice to salvage the tire and put on another rim...

Thought about building a cage of sorts and giving it a try for myself. But that's alot of trouble if someone else already has a setup to do split rims.

you can wrap a chain through the rim on both sides.

my first job was working for an old man at a concrete plant, we were doing a tire on a cat 980 and the rim come apart and hit the old man, i thought i killed him.

Sounds like a duh... I have lots of chain. May even go overboard and do 3 holes.
