Anyone ever split a tractor on here? Fixing to attempt it to replace a clutch. Jw if anyone had any tips or tricks and dos or donts. And yes it has a loader, that of course is not a quick attach lol

Have split a few, recommend a concrete floor, a couple of heavy floor jacks and a cherry picker or overhead trolley. Support the hitch/lift area of the rear so it doesn't flip up after seperation. I have used two long bolts with the heads cut off as guides, works well. Clean it really good before you start too, I hate working in a greasy dirty tractor.

If its got a pivoting front axle make sure you hammer wood wedges in at the pivot point so the engine doesn't flop over and cause it to fall or flip over. I've got to split my dad's farmall cub next week to replace its clutch.

Gantry is 7 inches too tall to fit in my shop, and at the moment there isnt any concrete in the shop. Havnt gotten that far yet, compacted abc is what is there for now.

When I did my grandpa's super A, I put a jack stand under the bellhousing and split it with a cherry picker. It worked great. Since you don't have concrete, a few sheets of plywood might be your best friend.
