I had gallon of Al's that got damaged by FedEx, so I decided to spray it in the truck over the weekend. I had an existing professionally installed liner of a different brand than I carry in the truck when I bought it. It was faded terribly and pulling up in a few spots. After I ground/cut/sanded/filled the spots, I took the gallon of Al's and sprayed a thin topcoat over the bed and rails to see how far I could squeeze a gallon. I'm going to spray some Scorpion over it eventually, but I didn't want to waste my stock of Scorpion in case the existing liner started lifting under the Al's.

Came out pretty good. You can see the ripples a little in the middle of the bed where the existing liner was sprayed unevenly. Once I lay down a thicker coat I should be able to smooth it a little.

Yes, I did all of this with a gallon! ;D

that looks great, especially for a home done job

Well, I spray Scorpion professionally, so I'm not new at it. :)
The Al's stuff is really easy to spray, though. I'm sure you could get the same results at home. :)

oh, thats cheating then. you tricked me haha.

looks good though, great job

I bought some of Al's last week and hope to give an unbiased report when I spray the back of my van. I figured the price was good and spraying it would be nicer than a roller so it can't be that bad to do.. If it looks as good as that I'll be very pleased. Look for my report in the next few weeks..
