I want to see what options other people would consider when reworking the leafsprings on the front of a toyota pickup. Basically looks like po has 5 inch trail gear springs mounted to in stock location on pickup (with stock shackles which are hitting the cab mounts just sitting on its on weight). I want to keep the driveshaft angle as close to straight as possible (which I know is very difficult as short as it is). I think the spring hanger needs to be mounted with boxing between it and the frame in order to rotate the axle. Any other options to rotating the axle? May have to switch to hp housing if it can stand alot of hp. Any opinions would be appreciated?
Thanks in advance.
