my 00 wrangler has a hard vibration in it at about 29-32 mph and it just started sunday i went and had my tires balanced and it didnt help and when i slow down i hear a squeaking noise idk if it is in there all the time jeeps to loud. are these two problems related and what do you think could fix it the squeaking is like metal rubbing rubber really high pitched from the front i guess

my first guess on the squeeking...brakes. vibration....bad rotor due to brakes not being replaced.

check for turtle stuck between dust sheild and caliper. hah, i had that happen once. it caused a weird vibration and squeel.

When the U-joints on a front axle go thats the sound they make. Mine squeak pretty loud every time I bust a cap on one. Reach under there and and grab the inner or outer shaft and see if there's any slop.

Must be a yellow wrangler thing cause mine was doin the same thing. I thought it was the front drive shaft when driving and it would only do it while driving and giving gas. After having a friend drive my jeep while I looked/listened I found it to be the rear drive shaft. It was lose and causing it to squeek. I had the bearings or whatever those things are replaced in the DS and it is all good now. Drives like new. Check it out, put some force on the rear DS and try to wiggle it around, if there is any play that it most likely the cause. I thought it was a brake caliper and all as well, it was driving me crazy for a few weeks, but look into it, cause if that DS goes, you will hate it!

check all suspension bushings as well, dry or cracked can cause some issues with vibrations.

Also, marsfab made a good point. if your u joints in your axle are going bad that will cause slop which will cause vibrations.
