So I need to go to St Matthews Sc on,been planning on going for a while and this is the only time I'm gonna have to go.Weather channel says 3-5 inches of rain, wind 25-40 and a flash flood warning for Calhoun county.Never been there before but I assume its flat and kinda sandy??? Anybody from there, whats the local weather man sayin?? Looked at stayin in spartanbrug Fri night so I can be there early sat but they are ass rapin people on hotel rooms.

That's about 45 min from me. It's a very small town with big flat fields and farms everywhere. It's on the opposite side of the Congaree river from me and hwy 601 runs right through it.
Yes it'll be raining all day tomorrow and Saturday. You'll be interested to know that i26 from Columbia to Charleston is shut down to all eastbound traffic so once you get to Columbia, you'll have to take an alternate route.

I heard on the weather channel tonight that I26 will go back to normal with east and westbound traffic. All of the emergency response personnel manning the highway to make sure people follow the rules with all westbound traffic will be needed elsewhere once the storm hits, so they're putting the highway pack to normal 2 way traffic.

I hope it happens soon. It's a total cluster around here right now.
I pass right by the 26/77 intersection multiple times a day so I'll know tge second they reopen eastbound.

Yeah I knew they were doing that but I was hopin it would be back to normal by Sat morning. The place is suppose to be right off 26 a couple of miles.

This was taken at 1pm today. Not a heavy rain but a set in one. Looks as though i26 will be back to normal soon.
