Google search "surplus steel"in your area. It's a general tag for a steelyard that's open to the public. Not a gaurantee but I can typically find places to buy scrap anywhere I go.

Got a 36x36 sheet from them a few months ago for my stove backsplash nice guys. I walked in the place all wide eyes. Guy smiled and said "first time? We're like Walmart for metal." They've got everything and will cut it or shear it for you.

Metal supermarket will literally cut you any size you want. Calling them is best.

Or jones metal works in Greensboro. They may want you to order atleast half a sheet though.
