2 years ago, I was sent to a job at Lake Norman. I had to install tile and carpet in a big ole Lake front house. It was a remodel, not new const. As I was there, I couldnt help but to notice all the pictures and framed awards from Fox and ESPN.
At the time , I didnt know who the homeowner was, but later that week, I met the homeowner. It was Mellisa Stark( NFL sideline reporter) Nice lady and good looking too.
Ok...cut to a few days ago.
I'm in Winston, one of my neighbors has remodel business and had landed a big remodel job, of an old house near the Reynolda house. He wanted me to do the tile tub walls and backsplashes.
The homeowner was not there for the first few days, but showed up towards the end of my project.
He looked like a well to do guy with all the latest fashions. He looked like he could have fit right in , in Hollywood or something. I mentioned , to my worker, ''This guys a purty boy'' I mean, he was dressed to the t.
He introduced himself as Burgess Jenkins. I didnt know that name, but I could tell he was loaded and wondered how he made his money.(He was dropping nearly a million in this remodel job) and mentioned 2 more houses he had just bought, that were going to be remodeled also.
I went outside, to get a tool out of my van and noticed that he was driving a Red Ferrari. It was bad ass.
Any way, he didnt say anything about him being a kinda Big time Hollywood actor, but he did say that I should look him up and see some of his other work.( I though I was going to see other real estate transactions or past remodel jobs of fancy houses) Ha, I was surprised to find out who he really is.

He's got a long list of shows and movies he was in.
Oh well, I got 2 grand out of him...maybe more to come.
