my yota wont start ... i think that i dont have enough power from battery to turn over... it wants too but sluggish at best...

here is another thing...

i try to turn the key to 0 and take it out and all i get is click clicking noise from what it wounds like that little silver box near the fusebox.... i tried with my volvo battery too.. but same thing.. just sluggish.. i dont think my battery is strong .. either of them to turn the stater well..

i think its the battery cause that clicking i think is the dead battery indiactor.. and all my internal ligts and dash went off..

please help... it a carbed 20r i will try and jump it.. will check all the connections..

is that clicking when i try to turn column back to 0 is that the indicator that my batt is dead.

everything iside worked ... then stopped abrubtly and then whe i trie dto take out key ii get click ckick ckickk.........

any advice would be appreciated.. i see no blown fuses..

i am gonna check for spark.. fuel.. and try to jump it.. advice would be appre3ciated

Ok.. i found my voltage regulator to be loose... now panel works again.. however, i still think my battery is too dead to start in this cold.

i know my volvo battery isnt strong enought to cold start this old beast.

gonna try to jump....

please any advice still helpful..

My bet is a loose connection or corrosion at the battery cable or terminal. And I've got no idea what the little silver box next to the fuse box is. My '84/5 4runner has it too, but its' disconnected. I figured it was something for the fuel injection that the 4runner had when new but doesn't now.
