ok guys i havent been able to get my x to start and its been killing me. ive swapped out the starter and it still isnt working. when i turn the key im getting no clic or anything. it seems like there is no power going to the starter. any help would be grateful

Your battery cables/terminals nice and tight and not corroded? I don't mean to insult, but it happens more than most will admit. Chance of a broken ground wire?

Was gonna say, check the ignition fuse. Put a meter on the wire to the starter and make sure you're getting power to it when you turn the key.

I'm thinking neutral safety switch. Try wiggling the shifter or try putting it in neutral and then starting it. NSS is known for going bad on Jeeps. You can also put the key in the on position then go under the hood and bump +12v to the purple wire on the starter and see if you get anything. If not then it's your starter, cables, terminals or battery. If you get it to turn over then it is either your ignition switch, NSS, starter relay or a fault in the wiring to or from the ignition switch.
