Staun beadlocks?

So I have a chance to buy some stauns for my yota pretty cheaply.Just wondered if anyone on here runs them and if they like them or not?These will be on a DD/wheeler truck and need them to be reliable.Just wondered if they leak or what?thanks!
 
had em for years, absolutley love them , and dittto in the PITA to install. You only gotta do it once and they are well worth it.
 
They are worthless...send them to me so you dont have to fight them,
 
TTT. Same question as OP. I've have an opportunity to get 4 wheels with rock rings and stauns (need one tube) for about half the price of a new setup, and about half the price of new alum race lines. Looking for first hand experience with stauns before I pull the trigger on them.

I bought a set of wheels/tires with stauns. A few would slowly leak between the tire/staun. I never tore it down to repair. My biggest complaint was, there is a specific order you have to air up/down. Trail rig only, not a big deal. Id say mounting is a pita also.

Id own another set for the right price.
 
I had a set on the buggy and i loved them. They wouldn't leak down bad and i never had any issues with them. Only ever lost one bead and it was a more or less perfect hit from a sharp rock right at the lip of the wheel/bead area and it busted the staun tube. I will say just go ahead and buy the correct tubes from Coyote or a Staun style tube. I tried motorcycle tubes, car tubes and the actual made for liner lock tubes and they were the only ones that worked for me. The only reason i sold them was the rim offset was too wide to put the buggy into my enclosed trailer and i found a deal on a set of regular beadlocks.I Would run them again in a minute without a second thought.
