Right now I've got 15in stock rims on my '85 4Runner & I was thinking about going to a 16in, what does everyone else run? Any advantages/disadvantages of either size or is it more of a personal perference? Right now everything is bone stock so I'm only running a 235/75R15 BFG All Terrain but in the future will it'll be lifted at least 4 inches & running somewhere around a 33in tire. Thanks.

15" usually has better prices on the tire and the wheel...and a wider variety of tire options...

16" would allow for bigger brakes if needed...

I ran 15's on mine for as long as possible because the wheels were cheaper and the tires were alot cheaper. I finally went to 16.5's and 17's thanks to Hummer having good wheels for my application, and not having to grind 1-ton brake calipers. I would stick with the 15's if you can.
