Steel buildings?

I know it's not local, but Heritage Buildings beat any price I could get from any other supplier and by several thousand dollars.

You won't beat this guy's price. Good friend of mine in Creedmoore that serves the area. He has all the brocures with prices and such. Great guy to deal with.

I priced metal buildings, and ended up going with a pole building using 6x6 posts and steel trusses like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Steel-Roof-...365?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19cb50e37d

However, I found my trusses on craigslist used for $100/ea instead of $400/ea, but I priced wood trusses, and they were about $200/ea. All of these were designed for 10ft spacing between each truss.

I'm mid construction right now, building will be 34x40 with a 13.5' sidewall height and a 20' ridge height. Total cost is going to be in the $14-15k range for everything (grading was free for me though).

Where's the build thread?!

Did we ever get to see finished pictures of your house?

Haven't started one yet. Barely enough time to work on the building, I'm too busy surfing the internet!

I'll update the thread with some new pics of the house this evening. We moved in December 2011, so been there over a year now.
