I am trying to figure out what steering column to run. i would like to go full hydro steering, but i wanna do a home made set up. i have been thinking about trying to pull the hydro system off of a older tractor. not to sure how that will work. any input would be great.

IMHO, unless you're swapping axles/tires >36"/suspension... full hydro would be a HUGE waste of your time & money!

If you have manual ("popeye") steering now, drop a power Saginaw box, pump, & lines on it (may need larger splined bell-joint & PS pitman) and enjoy the benefits (+arms atrophying)!

Never had any issues turning my locked 33"s with OE power steering... along with few 100,000 others :)

also, i am wanting to run a tilt steering column. but not sure what i need to find for it.

While almost any column could be made to work... tilt CJ or YJ column would likely be the easiest.

HaHa! Had to look that one up!

I don't think you & I have to worry about our arms atrophying!
