Steering box leak

How can I stop this leak? It did not leak when I had my old box on, but since I screwed out the fittings and put them in the new box, they leak. I thought they were leaking from the threads so I wrapped them in teflon tape, but the leak is actually where one of the lines meets the threaded fitting. How can I fix that? Since both of the fittings can be slid up and down the lines when they are unscrewed, how is the seal supposed to be leak-proof?

What does the fitting look like in the steering box?

The fitting is just like a hollow bolt but the end of the line is flared at the very end.

what is that new box from? is it the same as the old box? just wondering if your new box is set up for o-ring style fittings while you have flare-style hoses.

I would check to see if there was an O-ring on the line, if there is replace it, if not you might of mixed parts and are barking up the wrong tree.
