I put a waggy 44 in the front of my xj with a ried racing knuckle and hi steer, now with the drop pitman arm for the xj, it doesnt have enough throw to turn the wheels lock to lock, what pitman arm will correct this?

Waggy drop arm most likely.
The distance from the ball joint centerline to the tie rod attaching point centerline needs to match the length of the pitman arm. Make sense?

Are you using tre's or heims for the drag link? Why not just drill a new hole closer to the upper ball joint in the hi steer arm? How close are you actually getting to the steering stops? It may not even be noticeable when you drive it and with big tires it'll extend the life of the u-joints in the front shafts not being able to turn as sharp.

When you installed the new axle with hi-steer did you redo the panhard bar to match the new drag link angle? If not and the panhard mounts close to the stock location on the axle the you may need a flatter pitman arm to get the two closer to the same angle to help with bump steer.

Not sure if I should call myself a newb but this is the first rig that I have built and have never set up custom steering before. I have a trac bar kit and it will all be at the exact same angle. I got a waggy drop pitman arm and it has quite a bit more throw than the xj arm. it should be good to go now.
