I have a question about steering stabilizers. I had a suspicion the one on my 83 Sub was bad so I removed it. I think it is the original and was way past worn out.

I plan to replace it but wanted some suggestions. Is it worth it to get the Rancho or should I go with one of the cheap ones. Or perhaps there is another brand I should consider.

I currently run 33's with a 3" lift. The truck is mainly street driven and used to tow occasionally, but nothing extreme.

Yeah

The Rancho stuff is really nothing special.

I've heard that the Old Man Emu ones are good, haven't tried one myself yet (planning on it).

Went ahead with the Monroe from Advance. Bolts right into place and made a huge difference in how the truck handles. Only cost a little over $20 so I won't mind too terrible to replace when the time comes.

When i replaced the one on my jeep, i got the "HD" unit that was avail at O'Reilly's. a huge improvement over stock. about 50% bigger in diameter than the stock unit.
