Hello all, Thanks for viewing my thread.

I have a 2003 TJ with 33x12.50x15 and I have a very bad wobble (tires and steering wheel) side to side when approaching 40-55MPH. I plan to replace the sway bar links and get a Rough Country 2.2 Performance Steering stabilizer. Is there any more parts that you guys would recommend for me? It does not have a lift and I only plan to lift it 2.5" to 3" in the future. Thanks for you help, longing to drive on the freeway....

Sounds like the track bar. Make sure no track bar brackets or welds are broken and check any bushings in track bar.

i had that happen to me and it ended up being a bent wheel that was a left front... i deff felt it through the steering wheel. rotate your front wheels to the back and see if the steering wheel stops shaking. you wont feel the shake as much if the bent wheel is in the rear. Hope it helps

Thanks for the help, I'll check the track bar in the morning. As for the wheels, I just had some "new" tires put on today and they balanced out fine, so I am assuming its not the wheels. Keep the advice coming. Thanks in advance.

x2 on the track bar, make sure everything is tightened up. Get a good 4 wheel alignment. I had a little shake on my XJ after new tires and after an alignment it went away.

Track bar bolts seem tight. I'll get an alignment on my next paycheck and keep you guys informed.

It could still be the track bar brackets. I had the weld crack on my bracket on the frame side. I actually had to clean the dirt off to figure out it was cracked, so inspect it closely.

Well, great news... After doing more research online, I came across jeepfan.com, where it said to check tire pressure and do the chalk line to see if over/underinflated. I did the line and it left chalk on both sides, so I went to check the pressure.... It was 50PSI "WTF!" Needless to say, the tire shop apparently went above and beyond with tire pressure. I reduced the PSI to 30 and now it is 90% better. I was crusing 60 MPH for 2 miles with no issues only slight wobble, which I think the steering stabilizer and an alignment will fix. Thanks everyone for your help.
