I got a sterling axle. I was told that it's from a mid 90's truck. Can anyone decode the tag and tell me if it has ABS or what year it's from?

From a guy on TDS...
"Just by looking at the numbers you've posted, I can tell it is a 10.25" ring gear, 3.55:1 ratio. I'll look further. Tim

The "V" means it was built at the Van Dyke plant
The 126C means it is a conventional diff., Full float, single rear wheel.
The 7M17 is strange. It is the production date, with the 7 meaning 87, the M is the month, but 12 months goes to "L", not "M". the 17 is the date of the month. Perhaps the guy had mistaken an "H" for an "M". So, thats about it."
