I'm putting a D-60 front under my K-5. Now i have found I need to put a Hi-steer from the pitman arm to the right side knuckle. I already have the adapter on the right side, I just need to attach it to thr pitman arm/ steering box. I work in an auto parts store, so i have access to alot of auto parts. Can anyone point me in the general direction of what "stock" parts i can use to make this work and what they came off of. Thanks

You need a steering box from a 2wd, or atleast the sector shaft from one to go in your box, and a pitman arm from a 70's ford truck will work.

Get a steering box from the same year as your K5, but from a C10 (2WD pickup), you can return your 4x4 one as a core. As said you need a pitman arm from a Ford, it is a good idea to use a dropped one, as the flat stock one will hit the frame. Superlift part number 1104 is a popular one. If you can't get it from work, I think summit has it. You also need a dropped drag link, offroad design sells some nice ones, and so does rockstomper. Good luck.
